Course Schedule / Mondays

As a reminder starting this past Monday, October 21st the course and practice facilities will be closed on Mondays for the remainder of the season.

In November the first tee time during the week will be 8:30am and the first tee time on the weekends and holidays will be 8:00am.

CLOSING DAY SCRAMBLE

This past Saturday we held our final club tournament the Closing Day Scramble. Ten teams battled it out to see who would be the final winners of the 2024 season. The team of Brent Davis, Mark Lowe, and Beryl Piper won the Scramble with a score of 61. Second place went to the team of Dick Jones, Evan Jones, Lew Capuano, and Randy Gouveia on matching cards with a score of 65. The Closest To the Pin winners were Tyler Erickson and Beryl Piper! After the round was over the participants were treated to dinner in the Grill Room. We look forward to seeing you all at the Toys Fore Joy on November 9th.

TOYS FORE JOY

It’s a very exciting time of year… time to announce our annual fundraiser, the Toys Fore Joy Turkey Shoot! This great event is open to the entire Membership and Guests are more than welcomed to participate in this special event, registration is only $45 plus one NEW toy donation (valued at $20+).

Every Alliance course will participate in a shotgun on the morning of Saturday, November 9th. Soup and beer will be served on course, prizes are awarded, and raffles & mulligans are sold (proceeds go towards buying more toys!). Once the shotguns go out, we count the toys at each club and tally our overall total. It’s our very special and heartwarming way of wrapping up the tournament season!

Each year, we partner with community organizations during the holiday season to ensure the donated toys are delivered directly into the hands of local children in need. We proudly donated over 800 toys in 2022. This year’s event will take place across 5 golf clubs with the goal of donating 1,000 toys!

MEMBER APPRECIATION HOLIDAY PARTY

Don't miss out on the last Member Event of the season, the Member Appreciation Holiday Party will take place on Tuesday, November 26th from 5:30 - 7:30pm in the Grill Room. We look forward to celebrating the season that was 2024 surrounded by your fellow members. Members are free and Spouses/Guests are $25. Sign up in the Pro Shop, we cannot wait to celebrate the 2024 Season with you.

GRILL ROOM UPDATE & FINAL NEW HOURS!

The Grill Room going forward will be open Friday through Sunday FROM 10:00am to 4:00pm and it will be open on Veteran's Day, Monday November 11th. The kitchen will shut down 30 minutes prior to closing. You will be able to charge your purchases back to your Member Account just like up in the Pro Shop when you check out. Please, remember to close out your tab with the bartender prior to leaving the Grill Room after every visit. Failure to do so will result loss of tab running privileges. We can't wait to see you down in the Grill Room for great food and drink!

Don't forget you can now call in your orders while on the course to the Grill Room. All you need to do is call the main phone number at 203-264-8081 and press option 2 for the Grill Room and we will be happy to take your order over the phone and have it ready for when you make the turn at the Clubhouse.

As we are starting to wind down for the season, we are also trimming down the Grill Room menu as well. We have kept the more popular items on the menu for the remainder of the year, which you can view below. We are also running a Fish & Chips Special in the Grill Room for $8 until we run out. Make sure you get the catch of the day before they are all gone!

PRIZE MONEY WINNINGS

There are still unclaimed envelopes for Flight Winners, Parimutuels, Skins, and on course games from this year's Member-Guest and Member-Member events. Please, check with the Pro Shop when you check in or you can call the Pro Shop to see if there is an envelope with your name on it.

NEW GOLF CART UPDATE!

As mentioned in the Mid Season Member Update, we will be getting a new fleet of EZ-GO golf carts in 2025. Well, you will not have to wait until next year to take these new carts out for a spin on the course. The new carts will arrive around the middle of this month and there will be no increase to the cart fees for the 2024 season. These new carts will feature upgraded premium seats and longer lasting batteries. We cannot wait for you to get behind the wheel of these upgraded carts.

All Club Notifications are sent out via push notification on the Mobile App. Make sure push notifications are set to “ON” to receive these updates. Reminder To Use Your Golf Shop Credit

Friendly reminder: all golf shop credit will expire when we close shop at the end of the year. Please visit and buy something your heart desires before it expires!

Wednesday Night Men's League

This is the last week of the Wednesday Night Men's League. START TIME REMINDER - We tee off at 4pm this WEDNESDAY! Please, arrive 20 minutes before tee-off for your weekly pairings. It is a points based league season that will be split into two halves. This is the final week of this half and there are four teams that are still in the hunt for the Second Half Playoff. The team of Sal Cappuzzo and Art Wallace have a .2 point lead over Dave Silversey and Rob Goldman and a .4 point lead over Matt O'Brien and Brian Guido. Team O'Connell is still mathematically alive. The second half title is still up for grabs, please see the updated standings from Week 9 below.

This week the league will be playing on the Back 9 of the course.

As a reminder any subs must be a member of Silo Point CC and have an active GHIN number with the club.
