Tournament & Events Roundup

This past weekend the finals of our Senior Club Championship were held and we had three divisions based on age, they were Men's Senior Division (55+) which had to play from the White Tees, Men's Super Senior Division (65+) which had to play from the Gold Tees, and the Men's Legends Division (75+) which had to play from the Red Tees.

We crowned the winners in each division starting off with the winner of the Senior Division, Chris Jang defeated Tim O'Connell 2&1 to become our inaugural Senior Division Champion.

The Super Senior Division Final was played on Saturday morning and Jim Snodgrass bested the Low Qualifier, Dave Thompson, 3&2 to become the first Super Senior Champion.

Finally, in the Legends Division Al Mazur Sr. got the best of Nel Palacio defeating him 2&1 to be crowned the first Legends Champion.

All three Champions won $175 in credit at the Pro Shop while each Runner-Up got $100 in credit at the Pro Shop. Congratulations to all three Champions and we look forward to you defending your titles next year.

We also saw the culmination of the season long Silo Cup tournament this past weekend as well. We started off with 32 teams back in May and this past Sunday there were only two teams remaining. The team of Rohit Sood & Anthony Vela Jr defeated the team of Daniel Butkievich & Jim Frenis, 4&3.

Both Rohit & Anthony each won $450 in shop credit, while Dan & Jim each took home $337.50 in shop credit. Congratulations again to the 2024 Silo Cup Champions, Rohit Sood & Anthony Vela Jr.

TOYS FORE JOY

It’s a very exciting time of year… time to announce our annual fundraiser, the Toys Fore Joy Turkey Shoot! Guests are more than welcomed to participate in this special event, registration is only $45 plus one NEW toy donation (valued at $20+).

Every Alliance course will participate in a shotgun on the morning of Saturday, November 9th. Soup and beer will be served on course, prizes are awarded, and raffles & mulligans are sold (proceeds go towards buying more toys!). Once the shotguns go out, we count the toys at each club and tally our overall total. It’s our very special and heartwarming way of wrapping up the tournament season!

Each year, we partner with community organizations during the holiday season to ensure the donated toys are delivered directly into the hands of local children in need. We proudly donated over 800 toys in 2022. This year’s event will take place across 5 golf clubs with the goal of donating 1,000 toys!

Please sign up in the golf shop to enjoy a great day of golf, beer, soups, and holiday cheer!
