Tournament & Events Roundup

What a wet & wild week last week was, over a three day span the course took on three and a half inches of rain accumulation. Kudos to Brett and the entire Maintenance team for getting the course back into playing shape.

As a reminder especially after all the rain that we have received these last couple of days it is imperative that all members adhere to Cart Paths and Rough Only rule when using carts out on the course. This will help minimize any fairway damage that may occur on the course during play. The Maintenance team greatly appreciates it!

As the summer weather continues PLEASE remember to stay hydrated out on the course! We have water and Gatorade available in both the Pro Shop and in the Grill Room. If at any time you are not feeling well out on the course please, let us know and a Staff Member will drive out to meet you on the course to assist you back to the Clubhouse.

3 Day Member Member Registration is OPEN

There are 14 spots still remaining for this year's Member Member so please, join us starting on Friday, September 13th through Sunday, September 15th for our annual 3 Day Member Member Event. This tournament is open to ALL FULL MALE MEMBERS. The entry fee is $300 per Member and it is payable by CHECK ONLY to "Silo Point Country Club". Registration is first come, first served only and you must sign up in person at the Pro Shop Counter. Your entry fee is due upon registration to be registered for this event. This great event is limited to the first 40 teams and then we will be wait listed to 48 teams. To ensure you will receive your Tee Gift on the first day of the event, please register by Friday August 23rd! Don't miss out on this great event!!! RESCHEDULED Senior Club Championship

Due to all the rain last week the Senior Club Championship has been rescheduled. The rescheduled date for the Senior Club Championship is now starting on Saturday, September 21st deadline to sign up is Thursday, September the 19th. This event is open to all Full Male and Female Members, 55+. This event will be held over the course of two weekends with Saturday the 21st being an 18 Hole Stroke Play Qualifier. See the flyer below for more information. If you have already signed up and cannot attend the rescheduled date please let the Pro Shop know and we will remove you from the sign up sheet.

Silo Cup Results

The Elite Eight round is officially complete and we are now moving on to the Final Four. The Elite Eight round will end Saturday, August 31st make sure you get your match completed by then. Please, let the Pro Shop know when you played your Final Four match so we can update the bracket.

NEW OFFERINGS in the Grill Room!

We are excited to announce that we have some new offerings in the Grill Room! We have added a BLT Sandwich that you can get on either white or wheat bread to the Turn Deli offerings. We have also added Fat Orange Cat Baby Kittens IPA, Guinness Draught, Modello, Yuengling Lager, & Heineken Zero to our beer selections.

The Grill Room will be open Sunday through Tuesday, 11:00am to 6:00pm and Wednesday through Saturday, 11:00am to 8:00pm. The kitchen will shut down 30 minutes prior to closing. You will be able to charge your purchases back to your Member Account just like up in the Pro Shop when you check out. Please, remember to close out your tab with the bartender prior to leaving the Grill Room after every visit. Failure to do so will result loss of tab running privileges. We can't wait to see you down in the Grill Room for great food and drink!

Course Schedule / Mondays

Next Monday and Tuesday, the 19th and 20th the Maintenance Team will be Aerating the Greens. The course and practice facilities will be OPEN next Monday, August 19th the Driving Range ONLY will open at 11am and the first tee time will start at 12pm. The Back 9 and Putting Green will be closed on Monday the 19th with play only on the Front 9. Tuesday, August 20th the Front 9 will be closed with play only on the Back 9.

Pro Shop Promotion

We are currently running a promotion in the Pro Shop where you will receive a free ball marking kit complements of Titleist when you buy 2 dozen Titleist golf balls. Hurry while supplies last!

Wednesday Night Men's League

The first half of the Wednesday night Men's League has come to a close. It is a two-man team format playing against a different team every week. The second half will begin tonight Wednesday, August 14th and run until to October 16th. There is one open team spot remaining for anyone that is interested the cost to participate is $75/person or $150/team cash or checks only, checks must be payable to "Silo Point Country Club." Please, contact Tim if you are interested in playing in the second half.

As a reminder any subs must be a member of Silo Point CC and have an active GHIN number with the club.
