As the summer weather continues to crank up PLEASE remember to stay hydrated out on the course! We have water and Gatorade available in both the Pro Shop and in the Grill Room. If at any time you are not feeling well out on the course please, let us know and a Staff Member will drive out to meet you on the course to assist you back to the Clubhouse.

Club Championship Results

This past weekend we crowned our Club Champions. Kevin O'Connell defeated Riley Shay 2&1 to win the Men's Club Championship. Tom Sullivan bested Ron Pelletier 1up to win the First Flight Championship. Priscilla Wargo was crowned the Women's Club Champion after defeating Maria Bunzl 6&5. Congratulations to all three of our Champions, we hope to see you next year to defend your title.

3 Day Member Member Registration is OPEN

Join us starting on Friday, September 13th through Sunday, September 15th for our annual 3 Day Member Member Event. This tournament is open to ALL FULL MALE MEMBERS. The entry fee is $300 per Member and it is payable by CHECK ONLY to "Silo Point Country Club". Registration is first come, first served only and you must sign up in person at the Pro Shop Counter. Your entry fee is due upon registration to be registered for this event. This great event is limited to the first 40 teams and then we will be wait listed to 48 teams. Please, see the attached event packet for more information along with the attached registration form as well.

Women's 18-Hole Golf Association Results

BETTY GUMAN MEMORIAL MEMBER-MEMBER - ROUND 2

This is a two week better ball tournament. First week team standings did not change.

Joyce Curran and Beryl Piper took first place with a two week total (68-75) of 143 and Priscilla Wargo and Dianne Busse took a very close second place with a two week total (70-74) of 144.

Thanks to all 18 Hole Golf Association women who participated to honor our dear friend and mentor to so many, Betty Guman. In addition to the first and second prize money, Betty’s husband, Dick Guman, generously gifted the winners with a gift certificate.

Silo Cup Results

The Elite Eight round is officially complete and we are now moving on to the Final Four. The Elite Eight round will end Saturday, August 31st make sure you get your match completed by then. Please, let the Pro Shop know when you played your Final Four match so we can update the bracket.

NEW OFFERINGS in the Grill Room!

We are excited to announce that we have some new offerings in the Grill Room! We have added a BLT Sandwich that you can get on either white or wheat bread to the Turn Deli offerings. We have also added Fat Orange Cat Baby Kittens IPA, Guinness Draught, Modello, Yuengling Lager, & Heineken Zero to our beer selections.

The Grill Room will be open Sunday through Tuesday, 11:00am to 6:00pm and Wednesday through Saturday, 11:00am to 8:00pm. The kitchen will shut down 30 minutes prior to closing. You will be able to charge your purchases back to your Member Account just like up in the Pro Shop when you check out. Please, remember to close out your tab with the bartender prior to leaving the Grill Room after every visit. Failure to do so will result loss of tab running privileges. We can't wait to see you down in the Grill Room for great food and drink!

Course Schedule / Mondays

The course and practice facilities will be OPEN next Monday, August 12th the Driving Range will open at 11am and the first tee time will start at 12pm.

Pro Shop Promotion

We are currently running a promotion in the Pro Shop where you will receive a free ball marking kit complements of Titleist when you buy 2 dozen Titleist golf balls. Hurry while supplies last!

Senior Club Championship

The deadline to sign up for the Senior Club Championship starting on Saturday, August 10th. is this Thursday the 8th. This event is open to all Full Male and Female Members, 55+. This event will be held over the course of two weekends with Saturday the 10th being an 18 Hole Stroke Play Qualifier. See the flyer below for more information.

One Day Member-Guest

The One Day Member-Guest will take place on Thursday, August 15th. The format this year will be Two Best Balls of Foursome. You can sign up as a Twosome or Foursome and we will award prizes to both Gross & Net Winners. Lunch will be served prior to tee off at Noon followed by a Shotgun start at 1PM. Dinner will be served following the completion of the event. The deadline to register for this one day event is Tuesday, August 13th. Do not miss out on this event sign up today in the Pro Shop!

Wednesday Night Men's League

The first half of the Wednesday night Men's League has come to a close. It is a two-man team format playing against a different team every week. The second half will begin next Wednesday, August 14th run to October 9th. Sign ups for the second half are open in the Pro Shop. The cost to participate is $75/person or $150/team cash or checks only, checks must be payable to "Silo Point Country Club."

As a reminder any subs must be a member of Silo Point CC and have an active GHIN number with the club.
