Looking ahead at the weather for this week and the forecast is predicting sunny and hot. So make sure you are staying hydrated out on the course any time you tee it up.
As a reminder the deadline to sign up for the Men's & Women's Stroke Play Championship is this Thursday by 4pm. Contact the Pro Shop or stop in to sign up.
I am happy to announce that sign ups for the Women's Summer Special on Saturday, July 20th are open. This is a fun weekend event for our female members only! Ladies, you don't want to miss out on this event! See the flyer below for more information.
Course Schedule / Mondays
Wednesday, June 19th, is Juneteeth and the course will be operating under Holiday hours and rates tomorrow. The practice facilities will open at 5:30am and the first tee time will be at 6:30am.
The course and practice facilities will be open next Monday June 24th. The practice facilities will open at 11:00am and the first tee will start at 12:00pm!
Pro Shop Promotion
We are currently running a promotion in the Pro Shop where you will receive a free ball marking kit complements of Titleist when you buy 2 dozen Titleist golf balls. Hurry while supplies last!
Silo Cup Results
The Sweet Sixteen round must be completed by June 30th. Please, let the Pro Shop know when you play your Sweet Sixteen match so we can update the bracket.

Wednesday Night Men's League
The Wednesday night Men's League is in full swing. It is a two-man team format playing against a different team every week. Please, arrive 20 minutes before tee-off for your weekly pairings. It is a points based league season that will be split into two halves. The first half will run from April to June and the second half will go from August to October with the points standings resetting at the start of the second half. Please see the updated standings from Week 7 below.
As a reminder any subs must be a member of Silo Point CC and have an active GHIN number with the club.
This week the league will be playing on the Front 9 of the course.
Women's 18-Hole Golf Association Results

The Silo Point Women’s 18 Hole Golf Association played their annual Paparazzo Tournament which is named after the founder of Heritage Village and Heritage Village Country Club. It is a two-week net ringer tournament. The winners were announced at John’s Cafe in Woodbury where the women gathered for a celebration luncheon.
The 2024 winner of the Paparazzo Tournament was Barbara Ajello (center) with a 7 under par.
Robin Bickerstaff (left) was second by only one stroke with a 6 under par and
Priscilla Wargo (right) was third with 4 under par.

On Friday, June 14, 2024 the Women's League hosted their INTERCLUB Match against Ridgewood Country Club. As in our previous meeting against Ridgewood at Ridgewood, it was a close match! However, this outing Silo Point won!
Silo Point....gross 30.5.....net 26.5
Ridgewood....gross 23.5....net 27.5
Totals....Silo 57 - Ridgewood…..51
