Just a reminder that this Sunday we will be debuting a brand new event this year, The Couples Championship! This is open to all club couples. The format this year will be a Chapman Format, players will pick their tee. We will award prizes to both Gross & Net Winners. Do you have what it takes to become our Inaugural Couples Champions?! Tee times will start at 10AM. The deadline to register for this brand new event is Friday, May 31st.!

Pro Shop Promotion
We are currently running a promotion in the Pro Shop where you will receive a free ball marking kit complements of Titleist when you buy 2 dozen Titleist golf balls. Hurry while supplies last!
Mondays / Course Schedule
Next Monday June 3rd, we will open the course at NOON and the driving range will open at 11am.
We will also be hosting the Southern Connecticut Conference High School Girl's Golf Championship this Thursday, May 30th at 9am. Please, come out and support these local student-athletes.
Silo Cup Results
The Sweet Sixteen round must be completed by June 30th. Please, let the Pro Shop know when you play your Sweet Sixteen match so we can update the bracket.

Wednesday Night Men's League
The Wednesday night Men's League is in full swing. It is a two-man team format playing against a different team every week. Please, arrive 20 minutes before tee-off for your weekly pairings. It is a points based league season that will be split into two halves. The first half will run from April to June and the second half will go from August to October with the points standings resetting at the start of the second half. Please see the updated standings from Week 5 below.
As a reminder any subs must be a member of Silo Point CC and have an active GHIN number with the club.
This week the league will be playing on the Back 9 of the course.
Women's 18-Hole Golf Association Results
On May 9th in a “Red Zone” format golf tournament, only the number of strokes from 100 yards in to the hole count. A gross score is kept but winners are determined by the lowest number of strokes from the 100 yard marker in to the bottom of the cup.
The winners in the “Red Zone” were:
1st Barbara Ajello - 52
2nd Joyce Curran - 55
3rd Priscilla Wargo - 56
Great “scores” ladies!!
On Friday, May 17th six women of the Silo Point Women’s 18 Hole Golf Association played their first Interclub match of the season at Ridgefield…and it didn’t rain!
It was an hard-fought match but but Ridgewood women prevailed on their home course 56-52.
The Silo Point team consisted of Priscilla Wargo, Barbara Ajello, Diane Busse, Rachel Burns, Joyce Curran, and Cheryl Abraham.
Well done, Silo Point women!
May 22nd was a beautiful Wednesday, six Silo Point women played a tough match on a tough course.
Redding players dominated scoring 41 gross points and 38 net points for a total of 79.
Silo Point women scored 29 total points.
The company was great, and the lunch on the patio after play a delight. Redding CC is undergoing significant course design changes, landscape improvements and beautification efforts which further enhance its beauty and playability.
